MIAMI BEACH CONCOURS

It’s no secret that Miami has a thriving exotic car scene. The Ferraris and Lamborghinis that you see running the streets of Miami, particularly South Beach, serve a myriad of purposes—status, sport, leisure, and fashion—just to name a few. And while the array of exotics that frequent the Magic City aren’t limited to just those specific exotics, there’s never been an event for the true enthusiasts to gather, brush shoulders, and share their passion until now, thanks to the Miami Beach Concours.

Following the footsteps of its legendary concours d’elegance counterparts, such as Pebble Beach and Amelia Island, the Miami Beach Concours reached much farther than the modern Ferraris and Lamborghinis that are typically seen throughout our city. Classic Mercedes’ and Porsches were scattered about, while some of the most legendary cars ever built took center stage, such as the Ferrari 275, F40, and pair of F50s.

A Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, accompanied by its 300SL hardtop mate, faced off against the red Italians in the center field, with a classic Alfa Romeo Zagato and Porsche 356 Speedster rounding out the pack.

This Porsche 918 Spyder fro Champion Motorsports, clad in timeless Martini livery, was quite the sight to see. Parked beside it was our pair of Ferrari 458s, sporting Novitec carbon accents and exhaust, along with our Vossen Forged: Precision Series wheels.

While 2015 represents the inaugural hosting of the Miami Beach Concours d’Elegance, it is also the City of Miami Beach’s 100th Anniversary. While this year’s event was rather intimate, with just over 100 cars on display, it’s safe to say that growth and prosperity is in the new event’s future. Many thanks to John Temerian and his staff for organizing the event, we can’t wait to be part of it next year!
